WCG 2010 Official Games Announced

WCG announced total of 7 official game titles and 1 promotional game title this time. In this year’s line-up, not only traditionally popular titles such as Warcraft3, Counter-Strike, and Guitar Hero, world famous racing game Forza Motorsport 3 and fighting game Tekken 6 is included.

PC Titles:

1.) Warcraft 3

2.) Counter Strike

3.) Track Mania Nations Forever

4.) Carom3D

Xbox Titles:

1.) Forza Motorsport 3

2.) Guitar Hero 5

3.) Tekken 6

Now the first thing I asked myself was “WHY IS STARCRAFT BROOD WAR IS NOT ON THE LIST……” I think WCG needs to look at these titles again because Track Mania and Carom3D do not belong in major competitions. Starcraft Brood War has one of the biggest followings in esports, Halo 3 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 have the biggest communities for the Xbox hands down…. Is it just me or does it seem like there is some funny business going on at the World Cyber Games.
